FarmOn.ph turn virtual farming game into real life. FarmOn is an online game console developed by Sproads, with the coordination with Department of Agriculture and Quirino State University. FarmOn.ph is the bridge between virtual world farming and real world farming . When you plant  or raised an animal in a virtual game, a real farmer in Quirino will plant and raise the real animals for you.

FarmOn.ph will revolutionize farming by providing players or investors in a virtual space where they may experience farming for real. This gives everybody the chance to farm without really having to leave their present occupation. It is a farm management system, a farm community website, an ecommerce and an online game rolled into one.

FarmOn was having a similirality with the Facebook game Farmville which player play online game and earn, the only difference was the player can earn money instead of point. So you spend money on buying and earn money when you harvested.


Here is the full game mechanics:

  • The FarmOner needs to choose what crops to plant and pre-register a FarmOn.ph account.
  • Upon pre-registration, the FarmOner will have (a) game console access, (b) real-life bare farm land, crops, fruit-bearing trees or livestock's of your choice, (c) farmer, and (d) real-life farm maintenance
  • The FarmOner will design his/her farm, decide what crops to grow, what livestock to raise, or what trees to plant.
  • The Farmer will execute whatever the approved farm plan he receives from the FarmOner and Farm Master.
  • The Farmer will send weekly video updates and will make himself available for a weekly Skype session with the FarmOner. The Keeper will make sure that communication is always on hand.
  • The FarmOner may check the progress of his farm through the FarmOn.ph game console. He/she has access to both (a) virtual-world-version, and (b) real-life video feeds of the farm.
  • Comes harvest time, the FarmOner will decide how to market his/her products. He/she can sell them to (1) wholesalers, public market, restaurants & hotels through FarmOn.ph Marketplace or (2) pick it up from his/her farm.


Primary FarmOn Characters

  • The Farmoner - The manager and farm owner – he is the person who manages the farm through the FarmOn.ph game console.
  • The Farmer - He is the real-person-counterpart who executes what the FarmOner does on the game.
  • Farm Master - He is the person with broad experience in farming. He is the advisor, trainer, teacher and the mediator.
  • The Keeper - She manages the office. The main contact person and communicator between the characters are under control.


Based on thier website FarmOners or the player can get as much as 300% Return of Investment and a 50% share in the profit, while the FArmOn Farmer can get 48% profit sharing and the 2% will go to the agent or partner.

FarmOn Pre-registration starts from June 15, 2014 up to July 31, 2014. Actual farming starts on September 1, 2014.
