NDRRMC together with Tudlo Innovation Solutions and Smart Communications developed an App which aims to help Filipino smartphone users to be aware and prepared in times of disaster and emergencies.  The Batingaw Mobile App which available in both iOS and Android devices allows users to view updates and tweet feeds from different organizations like NDRRMC, Department of National Defense, DILG, DSWD, NEDA, DOH, DOTC, Department of Education, Philippine Red Cross, PAGASA, DSWD and others. Batingaw App Objective are as follows: 1. Provide handy electronic resources to the public that can be utilize in times of emergencies. 2. Increase public awareness on the fundamentals of Disaster Risk Reduction and areas for information-sharing that can be incorporated in actions needed to future emergencies. 3. Use key learning points for preparedness activities such as knowledge for individuals and their respective family members before, during and after disasters. Batingaw App is available for download free on Google Play Store and iTunes.
