Smart, Talk ‘N Text and Sun will offer free Twitter during Pope's visit

Tweet your wishes to the Pope for free during his visit in the Philippines with-out any charges. Smart, Talk ‘N Text and Sun will offer free Twitter to its subscribers during Pope's visit. Free Twitter duration is from January 15 to 19, 2015. 

Smart, Talk ‘N Text and Sun subscribers may start the one time registration for free Twitter on January 15. To subscribe just text  DEARPOPE to 9999. 

Upon successful registration, subscribers may either use the Twitter mobile app or via m.twitter.com on their mobile browser for the whole duration of the Papal visit.

This App is a Digital Magazine developed for children dedicated to the words and stories of the Holy Father. This app features the life of Pope Francis. You can download Pope Francis Comics Magazine Android App for free on Google Play Store.

MMDA for Android
You can use this App to view the traffic situation along the major roads of Metro Manila especially for EDSA. MMDA for Android App is free for download on Google Play Store.

Globe brings back free Facebook now with additional free Viber

Globe brings back Free Facebook starting  January 13, 2015. Globe Free Facebook now comes with additional Free Viber for its mobile users. All Globe Postpaid, Prepaid and TM customers can avail of this promo using their mobile phones. Take note though that this promo is not available on BlackBerry devices.

How to Register:
Text FREEFB and send it 8888 for free. You will then receive an SMS with a link to open and start Free Facebook.

You may also go to m.facebook.com/free on your phone's web browser or open the Facebook mobile app on the Globe network.Log-in to your Facebook account or create a new account. Once logged-in, you will be directed to a Welcome/Registration page. Click "Start Now" to proceed.

Users that already registered on the previous Free Facebook promo and not unsubscribed did not need to register again.

AyosDito.ph Merges with OLX.ph to Form a Big Classified Ads Website

AyosDito.ph and OLX.ph officially announced their merging in their respective websites. A month after the announcement of merging of the four companies including Naspers who owns OLX, Singapore Press Holdings who owns AyosDito.ph, Schibsted Media Group and Telenor which affects their operations in  Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand and the Philippines.

On the statement posted they stated that Starting January 22, AYOSDITO.PH will merge with OLX.PH to give ONE BIG WEBSITE for online buyers and sellers in the Philippines. This way, more Filipinos can get successful online classifieds experience with ease and convenience.

Starting January 22, 2015 all traffic and links from AyosDito.ph will now redirected to OLX.ph. But your AyosDito ads will not get reposted automatically on OLX. Instead, OLX will sending AyosDito users an e-mail of all active ads so they can select which ads you would want to get reposted by OLX on their website.

OLX ads and account details and other information were not be affected and remain as is.

What will happen to AYOSDITO.PH users?

Several things will happen as  transition to join OLX.PH. 

Please take note of these dates:

• January 11, 2015 – last day to post an ad on AYOSDITO.PH.
• January 13, 2015 – last day for sellers to edit or delete their AYOSDITO.PH ads
• January 16, 2015 – all existing AYOSDITO.PH ads will be automatically migrated to
• January 22, 2015 – all AYOSDITO.PH users will be redirected to www.olx.ph

For affected sellers, OLX.PH may send a notification regarding their transfer options.
