AyosDito.ph and OLX.ph officially announced their merging in their respective websites. A month after the announcement of merging of the four companies including Naspers who owns OLX, Singapore Press Holdings who owns AyosDito.ph, Schibsted Media Group and Telenor which affects their operations in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand and the Philippines.
On the statement posted they stated that Starting January 22, AYOSDITO.PH will merge with OLX.PH to give ONE BIG WEBSITE for online buyers and sellers in the Philippines. This way, more Filipinos can get successful online classifieds experience with ease and convenience.
Starting January 22, 2015 all traffic and links from AyosDito.ph will now redirected to OLX.ph. But your AyosDito ads will not get reposted automatically on OLX. Instead, OLX will sending AyosDito users an e-mail of all active ads so they can select which ads you would want to get reposted by OLX on their website.
OLX ads and account details and other information were not be affected and remain as is.
What will happen to AYOSDITO.PH users?
Several things will happen as transition to join OLX.PH.
Please take note of these dates:
- January 11, 2015 – last day to post an ad on AYOSDITO.PH.
- January 13, 2015 – last day for sellers to edit or delete their AYOSDITO.PH ads
- January 16, 2015 – all existing AYOSDITO.PH ads will be automatically migrated to
- January 22, 2015 – all AYOSDITO.PH users will be redirected to www.olx.ph
For affected sellers, OLX.PH may send a notification regarding their transfer options.
